For spring break, I went on the SPOTS (Special Projects Other Than Summer) trip with the BSU to do hurricane relief in southern Alabama. We stayed at a camp in Citronelle. Half of our group of 50 people stayed at the camp each day to help fix up stuff around there. We also had two other work sites. One group completely redid a roof, and my group worked on siding and finishing drywall at another house. The work was friggin tedious, but we had fun. One day we had a fire at lunch in the back yard (they were burning scrap wood), so Iplayed with that for a bit. On our “fun day” (the last day we stayed there), we had lunch at the battleship park thingy in Mobile, went to the beach, and had dinner at Lambert’s Cafe. There’s a lot more I could tell about, but I don’t feel like typing it all right now. We got lots of good footage….video editing soon to ensue.
